About
A progressive vocational campus for a global future.
Politeknik 'Aisyiyah Batam (PAB) is a progressive vocational campus established to produce graduates who are outstanding, professional, principled, and ready to compete in the global workforce.
As part of a network of hundreds of Muhammadiyah and 'Aisyiyah higher education institutions across Indonesia, PAB stands on the foundation of an education movement proven over more than a century. Muhammadiyah has been active since 1912 and 'Aisyiyah since 1917, delivering education that is strong, trusted, and grounded in the values of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan.
Located in the city of Batam, a strategic industrial city connected to international trade routes, PAB delivers education in Technology, Business, and Language. The study programmes developed include Industrial Relations, English for Business and Professional Communication, and International Trade Logistics. The PAB curriculum is directed by the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework and the National Higher Education Standards.
With learning that combines theory, practicals, case studies, simulations, and collaboration, together with offline, online, and hybrid systems, PAB is the right choice for prospective students who want to gain workplace skills, strong character, and a global outlook.
Governing Body
An 'Aisyiyah charitable enterprise, under Muhammadiyah.
'Aisyiyah is the women's movement of Muhammadiyah, founded in 1917 in Yogyakarta. For more than a century, this movement has run thousands of schools, higher education institutions, hospitals, and other charitable enterprises across Indonesia.
Politeknik 'Aisyiyah Batam is part of that network. This means that although the campus is new, its governance, values, and operating standards rest on a long experience of running educational institutions, rather than starting from scratch.

Strategic Location
Learn inside its industry ecosystem.
We deliberately established ourselves in Batam because this is where course material becomes reality. Industrial estates, ports, and the offices of multinational companies are not merely case studies, but places where students undertake internships and graduates work.
Our three study programmes were chosen precisely because of the needs of this region:
- Industrial Relations, for industrial relations and human resource management in manufacturing.
- International Trade Logistics, for export and import, customs, and the supply chain.
- English for Business and Professional Communication, for cross-border business communication.

The running of the campus is overseen by the Daily Development Board and coordinated with the 'Aisyiyah Regional Leadership of the Riau Islands, ensuring that academic quality aligns with the values of the organisation.
The organisational structure places the directorate as the day-to-day manager, supported by heads of study programmes, the quality assurance unit, and the admissions department. (The full chart will follow.)
Legal Status
Official, and you can verify it yourself.
It is natural to have doubts about a new campus. That is why we share the evidence of our legal status, rather than simply making claims.
